The short answer

KP Storage Solutions sells new (one-trip) and used 20ft and 40ft shipping containers across Colorado. Every quote includes delivery to your address, we review site access before scheduling, and you pay when the container is delivered.

New and used containers, explained plainly

New containers, often called one-trip containers, have typically made a single overseas voyage before being sold. They arrive with clean paint, tight door seals and minimal wear, which matters when the container sits in a visible spot or will be modified later.

Used containers have spent years in shipping service. They show dents, surface rust and faded paint, but a good used container is still structurally sound and wind and water tight. For farm equipment, tools and job-site materials, that's usually all that matters.

Choosing the right size

Most Colorado buyers choose between a 20-foot and a 40-foot container. A 20-foot gives about 150 square feet of floor space and fits tighter properties. A 40-foot gives about 300 square feet for roughly the same width, which suits equipment, inventory and long materials.

High-cube versions add a foot of height (9′6″ outside instead of 8′6″) when you need to stack shelving or store taller equipment.

20-foot containers

Household belongings, tools, landscaping equipment, seasonal inventory and smaller job sites.

40-foot containers

Farm and ranch equipment, contractor materials, business inventory and vehicles or recreational gear.

Delivery is part of the price

Your quote includes transportation to your address, so you know the full cost before you schedule. We deliver at ground level with tilt-bed trailers, so no crane is needed. Before delivery we'll ask about the drop spot, ground conditions, overhead clearance and the route in.

Payment is due once the container has been delivered and placed. Need to spread out the cost? Financing is available through our partner Clicklease.
