The short answer

We transport 20ft and 40ft shipping containers across Colorado on our own trucks and trailers. Every move starts with a quick review of pickup and drop locations, access, ground conditions and timing, so the container lands where you need it.

What container transportation covers

  • Delivery of containers purchased from KP Storage Solutions
  • Pickup and hauling of containers between locations
  • Commercial and industrial moves within a property or across town
  • Rural and agricultural deliveries on unpaved access roads
  • Ground-level placement with a tilt-bed trailer, no crane required

Planning the move

A smooth delivery depends on details we confirm before the truck rolls. We'll ask for the pickup and drop addresses, a description or photo of the placement spot, which way you want the doors to face, and anything that could block the route.

Access

As a general guide, plan for a clear, straight approach roughly three times the container's length plus the truck, about 12 feet of width, and no low wires or branches overhead. We'll confirm what your site needs.

Ground

Firm, level, dry ground keeps the container square and the doors working. Gravel, compacted base, concrete or railroad ties under the corners all work well. Soft or muddy ground can delay delivery.

Timing

Colorado weather affects access, especially on rural roads and mountain sites. We'll schedule around conditions and keep you updated.
