The short answer

Relocation is for containers you already own. It's different from buying a container: we pick up your empty container, haul it and place it at the new location. Containers must be emptied before pickup.

Relocation vs buying and delivery

When you buy a container from us, delivery is included in the price. Relocation is a separate service for a container that's already yours and sitting somewhere else, whether that's the back of your lot, a previous home or a finished job site.

  • Moving to a new home or property
  • Repositioning a container on a farm or ranch
  • Moving storage between commercial properties
  • Moving a container from a finished job site to the next one

Why the container has to be empty

Containers are tilted during loading and unloading. Anything inside can shift, damage the container or create a safety risk, and the added weight affects safe hauling. We move empty containers only.

Getting the container ready

  • Empty the container completely and leave the doors closed and latched
  • Clear a path for the truck at the pickup and drop locations
  • Remove anything stacked against or on top of the container
  • Note any ramps, shelving anchors or attachments that need removing
  • Share photos of both locations when you request a quote
